Data Processing Agreement

Introduction

This Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) forms part of the Terms of Service between you (the “Controller”) and Skynyx Dev (“Processor”), and governs the processing of personal data via our API services in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • You act as the Data Controller; Skynyx Dev acts as the Data Processor.
  • We only process personal data on your documented instructions unless required by law.

Types of Data Processed

  • Personal identifiers: name, email address, IP addresses.
  • API usage data, support logs, account-level activity.

Purpose of Processing

The processing is carried out solely for the purpose of providing API functionality, monitoring, billing, and user support as outlined in our Terms and Privacy Policy.

Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including TLS encryption, access control, data minimization, and incident response protocols.

Sub-processors

We may engage third-party service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics) to process data on our behalf. We ensure they are GDPR-compliant through written agreements and due diligence.

International Transfers

Any transfer of personal data outside the EU/EEA will follow adequate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent legal frameworks.

Data Subject Requests

We will assist you, as the controller, in responding to data subject requests related to access, correction, deletion, and objection, in accordance with GDPR requirements.

Data Retention and Deletion

Upon termination of the service or upon your request, we will delete or return personal data unless otherwise required by law to retain it.
